An Intimate Celebration by the Sea
David and Payson chose to celebrate their love in an intimate gathering surrounded by their closest friends, who traveled from the United States to witness their union in Mexico. Their ceremony took place barefoot on the sand at Atelier Playa Mujeres, where the ocean, soft light, and quiet emotion set the tone for a deeply romantic moment.
The ceremony space reflected the couple’s understated elegance — a modest beach chuppah with floral accents in beige, white, and natural greens. Designed through a collaboration between Atelier and Abstract Design, the setting felt organic and intentional, allowing the focus to remain on connection, presence, and the beauty of simplicity.

From handheld fans to a one-tier cake adorned with their beloved pups, every detail felt personal and inclusive — a celebration defined by friendship, warmth, and a love that was openly and beautifully shared.
